What are Microgreens?

Microgreens are similar to sprouts, but they are grown with soil and light, and have been proven to contain more concentrated nutrients than their mature counterparts. They are incredibly easy to grow!

It only takes about a week to grow microgreens, and even at just 2-3” high they are packed with the same flavor and vitamins that a full-size plant would contain. They can be harvested 10-14 days after germination. Scientists have found that most microgreens are packed with 4 - 40 times the nutrients of their more mature counterparts.

Seattle Seed Co. seeds are 100% certified organic. Microgreens are a wonderful way to grow your own nutrient-dense vegetables year-round! Use them in salads, burgers, smoothies. The possibilities are endless.
